How Clarity Mind handles your data.

Overview

Clarity Mind is designed to be usable without providing personal data. No account is required to use the core thinking tools. We collect as little data as possible and never sell user data to third parties.

Data processed during usage

When you use Clarity Mind, the following data may be processed:

  • Text inputs: Thoughts, claims, or ideas you submit for analysis are sent to third-party AI APIs (such as OpenAI) for processing. These inputs are transmitted securely and are used solely to generate your analysis results.
  • Account data: If you choose to create an account or sign in to beta access, your email address and display name are stored to manage your session and analysis history.
  • Session data: Cookies and local storage are used to maintain your login session and remember preferences such as theme settings.
  • Analysis results: If you are signed in, your analysis results may be stored in our database to enable features such as your timeline, thought library, and analysis history.

Server logs

Our servers automatically record standard request data, including IP addresses, request timestamps, URLs accessed, and browser user-agent strings. These logs are used for security monitoring, debugging, and maintaining service reliability. Server logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for user profiling.

AI processing

Text inputs submitted for thought analysis are sent to third-party AI services for processing. We do not control how these third-party providers handle data beyond the terms of our agreements with them. We recommend that you do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential data, or private details in your analysis inputs.

Analytics

Clarity Mind may use basic usage analytics to understand how the tool is used and to improve the experience. This may include tracking page views, feature usage, and interaction patterns. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
